Diacerein 50 mg 30 capsules
Diacerein is used to treat symptoms and pain caused by degenerative arthritis (osteoarthritis). This drug is broken down in the body to release the active drug “Rhein”, which is responsible for slowing the inflammatory process in the joints, by inhibiting the inflammatory substance interleukin-1.
Diacerein relieves pain and improves joint performance, which is represented by softening the joints and increasing their ability to move.
Unlike NSAIDs, the pharmacological effect of diacerein persists for up to three months after stopping treatment, in addition to having fewer gastrointestinal side effects.
The most common side effect is diarrhea, but it resolves on its own after the body adjusts to the medication.
Dosage:
50-100 milligrams per day. (1 – 2 capsules)
Effective time:
The effectiveness of one capsule lasts for 7-8 hours, but in general the effect of this drug remains for 3 months after stopping it.
