* EPICEPHIN (Ceftriaxone) 1 gm for IM injection. 1 Sterile vial + 1 Ampoule solvent (3.5 ml) of 1% Lidocaine solution.
& & – Each vial (dry substance) contains: Ceftriaxone 1 gm as ceftriaxone disodium 3.5 H2O.
& & – Each ampoule (3.5 ml) of solvent contains: Lidocaine hydrochloride (1%) 35 mg, water qs 3.5 ml of solution.
* Broad Spectrum Antibiotic.
* Dissolve the content of the vial 1 gm in 3.5 ml lidocaine 1%.
* The freshly reconstituted solution is recommended. Its efficacy is maintained for at least 6 hours at room temperature.
* Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees C.
* To be used under medical supervision.
