This medication has a positive effect on metabolism and blood circulation of the brain.
It increases glucose utilization, improves the course of metabolic processes, improves microcirculation in the ischemic areas, and inhibits the aggregation of activated platelets.
Cerebroforte has a protective effect for brain damage caused by hypoxia, intoxication, an electric shock.
This drug improves the integrative activity of the brain.
Cerebroforte does not have a sedative and stimulating effect.
Indications: mental function disorders Treatment of the elderly w/ some degree of cerebral functional impairment such as loss of memory, lack of conc or alertness, mood changes, vertigo, personal negligence & deterioration in behaviour.
Treatment of symptoms related to chronic alcoholism w/drawal & of chronic alcoholic patients suffering from a psycho organic brain syndrome.
Treatment of coma of vascular, traumatic or toxic origin, as well as cognitive deficit &/or vertigo resulting from head injury.
Patients suffering from myoclonus of cortical origin, (used in combination w/ other anti-myoclonic therapies).
