Active ingredient:
Dexamethasone (Sodium Phosphate)
Uses:
Treat many different conditions such as allergic disorders, skin conditions, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, breathing disorders, eye conditions, blood cell disorders, leukemia, multiple sclerosis, inflammation of the joints or tendons, and problems caused by low adrenal gland hormone levels
All forms of general and local glucocorticoid injection therapy and all acute conditions in which intravenous glucocorticoid may be life saving
Side effects:
Heartburn, headache, trouble sleeping, increased appetite, or pain/redness/swelling at the injection site
Dosage:
8-16 mg i.v followed by 5 mg every 6 hours
